KSU Alerts—RAVE and Alertus

KSU’s comprehensive notification systems, RAVE and Alertus, promptly alert students, faculty, and staff in emergencies. This system is managed by the KSU Office of Emergency Management and utilizes outdoor sirens, emails, texts, voice calls, desktop alerts, the university website, and social media. Its purpose is to ensure timely and relevant emergency communication for the entire campus community.

Please note that RAVE alerts will be sent to the phone number you have listed in OneUSG Connect for emergency notification, so it's important to keep that information updated. You should also ensure your number is marked as a mobile phone number so you will receive texts as well as phone calls in an emergency.

Ensure your phone is set up to receive emergency alerts.

Need to change your preferred language for emergency alerts? Follow these instructions.
