As Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Kennesaw State University (KSU), Aaron Streimish leads the University Information Technology Services (UITS) division. With a focus on strategic planning and innovative IT solutions, Aaron and the UITS leadership team drive initiatives that empower student success, foster cutting-edge research, and enhance operational excellence across the university. 

Aaron brings over 25 years of experience as a visionary IT executive specializing in business transformation, service delivery, and process improvement—particularly in higher education. During his 23 years at the University of Central Florida, he played a pivotal role in helping the institution grow from 29,000 students to over 70,000. Aaron is passionate about aligning technology with institutional strategies to deliver impactful and sustainable results

Kennesaw State, Georgia’s third-largest university, serves more than 47,000 students across two campuses in Kennesaw and Marietta. In this dynamic environment, Aaron oversees an enterprise IT team of over 225 professionals dedicated to delivering reliable, scalable, and secure technology services that support the university's mission. 

Under Aaron's leadership, UITS is transforming IT operations and support, strengthening cybersecurity, and implementing cutting-edge technologies to advance KSU’s Taking Flight Strategic Plan. This ambitious initiative aims to create a thriving learning environment, promote innovative research, and build a sustainable future.

Known for his collaborative approach, Aaron excels at bringing together diverse stakeholders to develop actionable strategies for complex challenges. His open communication style and data-driven decision-making foster a culture of trust, innovation, and shared success.
