Submit an IT Project Request

UITS manages IT projects at KSU, collaborating with faculty andf staff to develop new technology solutions and implement major upgrades.

What is an IT Project Request?

An IT project request involves a technology update or change that requires complex planning, affects multiple departments, or goes beyond a standard service request. Any faculty or staff member can submit a request.

Process Overview

  1. Submit your request through our service portal.
  2. A UITS team member will contact you to gather more details.
  3. UITS leadership will review and prioritize your project with input from the President’s Cabinet.

Early submissions help ensure timely planning and effective outcomes.

Note: If your project has to do with implementing an IT product that was purchased or is being purchased, please complete the Technology Approval Form. Visit the IT Purchase Requests page for more information.

How to Submit a Request

  1. Log in to the service portal using your KSUmail address and password.
  2. Select UITS Project Management and click Submit a Project Request.
  3. Complete the Create a New Project Request/Demand form and upload relevant files.
