 The KSU IT Service Desk assists students, faculty & researchers and staff with a wide range of support services. Scroll down to make a reservation for technology equipment, see our opening hours and locations, as well as contact information.

The KSU IT Service Desk provides a range of IT support services to keep you connected and productive:

  • Walk-In & Remote Support: Get help on campus or via phone, email, or remote tools.
  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Account Assistance: Reset passwords, set up Duo (MFA), and manage your NetID.
  • Network Help: Connect to KSU Wi-Fi and resolve internet issues.
  • Classroom & Lab Support: Ensure technology works seamlessly in learning spaces.
  • Knowledge Resources: Access guides, tutorials, and FAQs for self-service solutions.

Fall and Spring Semester Hours of Operation

Monday–Thursday: 7:30 a.m.–10 p.m.

Friday: 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m.

Saturday: 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

Sundays: 1–5 p.m. 

Holidays: closed

Summer Semester Hours of Operation

Monday–Thursday: 7:30 a.m.–9 p.m.

Friday: 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m.

Saturday: 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

Sunday: 1–5 p.m. 

Holidays: closed

Technology Checkout

Need IT equipment? We offer free technology equipment checkout for students, faculty & researchers, and staff!

Our inventory includes: 

  • Video and digital cameras 
  • Microphones 
  • Podcasting equipment 
  • Tripods 

Before you checkout: 

  • Please bring your valid KSU ID for all equipment checkouts—it’s required. 
  • Make sure to reserve your equipment at least 24 hours in advance of your desired pickup time. Need it sooner? Stop by in person, and we’ll do our best to help! 
  • Reservations not picked up within 24 hours will be canceled to make the equipment available for others.
