Marketing Funnel – Bringing Prospective Students Along the Journey to KSU

Understanding how to effectively market to your target audience(s) is crucial for achieving your marketing goals and your desired return on investment. The marketing funnel identifies the student journey. Although a student’s  path is seldom linear, understanding the various stages in the journey helps to create compelling messaging and select effective communication tactics.  

Activities at the top of the funnel are intended to build awareness of KSU’s value propositions and points of distinction. In the middle of the funnel, prospects continue to receive communications that help them solve a problem or answer a question, thus building preference for Kennesaw State. The lower part of the funnel is where decisions are made and conversion to enrollment takes place. Maintaining relevant and engaging text and visual communications throughout the student journey nurtures these relationships and makes KSU the clear choice for prospective students.

Once a marketing project request is submitted, prioritized and approved for support through our project intake process, we’ll meet with you to discuss your goals and identify the specific deliverables, timing, and resources required. Plan Ahead

Lead time for approved projects varies based on the scope of the project. At a minimum, four to six weeks are generally needed to plan and launch a basic campaign, and complex multichannel campaigns take longer. Please plan ahead for your needs – view timing and workflow for more specifics.
