Visually Representing the University's Brand

the word design next to a lightbulb

The Design Services team is instrumental in shaping the visual identity of the institution and ensuring all design-related projects reflect our brand, culture, vision, and values. Our talented team of graphic designers is passionate about creating visually compelling materials that are consistent with the university's visual identity standards and guidelines.

We are here to partner with you and assist with your marketing and branding needs by creating visual solutions that make ideas and visions come to life. Designing across print and digital mediums, projects can vary from a trifold brochure to an integrated campaign.

Due to limited resources, projects that may fall outside of Design Services' direct support are departmental newsletters, student organizations, and organizations that have creative resources.

We create and design graphics for various deliverables but not limited to:

  • Magazines
  • Flyers and Brochures
  • Annual Report Booklets
  • Web and digital graphics
  • Digital animation (HTML)
  • Campaign Branding

Let's create something amazing together!

Our Process

success and progress spelled in blocks

  1. Submit a Project Proposal
To begin, please submit a project proposal. Every project requires this step to help us gather important details about your needs and ensure nothing is overlooked.
  2. Follow-Up
After submission, you'll receive an automated confirmation email. We will reach out if we have any questions or to discuss your request further. We may also schedule a project kick-off meeting to better understand the project’s goals and vision.
  3. Concept Development and Review
Once we have all the necessary information from you, our team will research and brainstorm ideas to develop concepts. These concepts will be shared with you for feedback and review, allowing you to make decisions on the direction.
  4. Design and Proofing
At this stage, our designer will create digital versions of the selected concept. Typically, we need 5-10 business days to provide the first proof, depending on the project’s scope. We allow for up to three rounds of revisions, if needed, to refine the design.
  5. Final Approval and Finalization
The project is considered approved once you’ve thoroughly reviewed the final proof and confirmed that all text and graphic elements are correct. For digital-only projects, the designer will provide the final file in your requested format, and the project will be complete. If printing is involved, the artwork will be sent to the chosen vendor, and additional work may be needed to finalize the artwork files.
  6. Delivery and Quality Check
After the project is sent to the vendor, our design team works with them on proofing to ensure the final print matches expectations. Once delivered, the project undergoes a quality assurance review before we notify you for pick-up. A survey will be sent afterward to ensure your goals were met and to gather feedback on how we can improve our services.
