Maintain Our Academic Standards

The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at KSU prioritizes academic excellence, ensuring all students are well-prepared for advanced coursework. To enroll in upper-division courses, students must first achieve our Engineering Standing.

Requirements for Engineering Standing: Engineering and Non-engineering Majors
To qualify, students must maintain a minimum 2.7 GPA in designated math, science, and engineering courses specified on the following application forms. For the specific list of prerequisite courses required of non-gineering majors, please visit SPCEET Advising and plan accordingly.
