Regents’ Engineering Pathway

The Regents’ Engineering Pathway (REP) program was established to expand the availability of engineering education opportunities for Georgians. Students complete two or more years of pre engineering courses at participating University System of Georgia (REP Partner) institutions and then transfer to Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia Southern University, Kennesaw State University, Mercer University or the University of Georgia to complete a B.S. degree in Engineering (REP Engineering Institutions).

  • There are no general admission requirements for Regents’ Engineering Pathway program. Requirements vary among the five institutions. It is critically important that students refer to the requirements for the engineering institution they plan to transfer.

The KSU admission requirements can be found at: transfer admission requirements. Students complete the appropriate courses for their chosen engineering major with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.7.

Dual Degree Articulations

Kennesaw State University in Georgia has Dual Degree articulations with several institutions. Students attend a participating Dual Degree institution for approximately three (3) years and then transfer to an engineering program at Kennesaw State University. After completing the academic requirements of both institutions, the student is awarded a bachelor's degree from their home institution and a designated Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology at Kennesaw State University.

  • There is no special application to complete to obtain a Dual Degree. There is a section in the general application to denote "Dual Degree with another university".

The KSU admission requirements can be found at: transfer admission requirements. Students complete the appropriate courses for their chosen engineering major in accordance with the appropriate Dual Degree transfer articulation.
