BodyPositiveKSU

BodyPositiveKSU is a series of engaging events, workshops, book clubs, and thought-provoking presentations. We aim to equip you with essential tools to foster a positive relationship with your body. These events are based on five powerful competencies to help you develop resources and a renewed energy to take care of your body:

  1. Reclaim Health: Learn practical strategies to prioritize your physical health without compromising your mental and emotional well-being.
  2. Practice Intuitive Self-Care: Uncover the art of listening to your body’s cues.
  3. Cultivate Self-Love: Embrace your body as it is—flaws, imperfections, and all. You are worthy of love and kindness, just as you are.
  4. Declare Your Own Authentic Beauty: Beauty isn't one-size-fits-all, and we celebrate that.
  5. Build Community: Connect with like-minded peers who share your journey and remind you that you’re not alone in this transformative process.

When we become proficient—competent—at using these skills, we are able to care for ourselves in body, mind, and spirit from a place of self-love and appreciation. Let’s create a campus culture where body positivity thrives, and together, we’ll rewrite the narrative around self-worth.
