Internships provide Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology (SPCEET) students with real world experience and help SPCEET students stand out to potential employers. An internship experience also fosters the development of new skills and provides valuable insight into the practice of engineering. Internships enhance your resume and give you an edge in the job market. Many companies use internships as a recruiting tool for permanent employment.

In order to receive three hours of elective credit (CE 3398) in an engineering program, SPCEET students must apply for approval of a proposed engineering internship. Applications for internships may be made through Handshake.
