The Commons – Summer Closure Notice

During the summer 2024 semester, The Commons will be temporarily closed for service due to renovation construction. The last day of service in The Commons for the spring semester is May 1 and normal operations are expected to resume with the commencement of the fall 2024 semester.

Throughout this period, High Point Café on the Kennesaw campus and Stingers on the Marietta campus will remain open. Meal entries can be utilized at High Point Café for combo meals and at Stingers for entry to the dining hall. Additionally, various retail locations will be operational on both campuses accepting Dining Dollars.

Please note that any remaining entries or Dining Dollars from the spring semester will not carry over to the summer and we encourage careful consideration when purchasing a summer meal plan.

Summer Meal Plans are available for purchase and any entries remaining at the end of the summer semester will expire on the last day of service for the summer semester which is July 25, 2024.

To purchase via an auto deducted Meal Plan payment, download the Payroll Deduction Form and return it to the Meal Plan office in The Commons or the Stingers front desk or click here  to submit your form via DocuSign. Alternatively, Meal Plan contracts are available in the Meal Plan office. Meal Plan Deduction Forms for Fall 2024 will be accepted after the end of the summer semester. 

Starting Fall 2024, Faculty/Staff Meal Plans purchased during the fall semester will carry over any remaining entries as long as the employee is active at Kennesaw State University. Entries will only expire if the employee ceases employment with Kennesaw State University.
