This award recognizes a KSU staff member or team within the Administration and Finance division who upholds our commitment to steadfast stewardship by finding new ways to enhance efficiencies, improve processes, and/or reduce redundancies to save costs.
Qualifications
- Has been employed at the University for more than one year.
- Has had no disciplinary concerns within the last twelve months.
- Has received an overall evaluation rating from their manager of either a “Superior” or “Exemplary” level (either a 4 or 5 overall).
Additionally, the ideal candidate or team should possess these characteristics:
- They have demonstrated exceptional fiscal responsibility by identifying and implementing cost-saving measures that significantly benefit their organization
- They consistently seek out opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste, ensuring optimal use of resources.
- They exhibit strong analytical skills in evaluating processes and making data-driven decisions to enhance financial performance.
- They act as a role model for responsible resource management, inspiring others to adopt similar practices and contribute to the organization’s success.
Nomination Requirements
- In addition to the nomination form, please include at least one letter of support from either a coworker, past or present supervisor, student, internal or external stakeholder, faculty member, or staff in an outside department. If you are not the nominee's direct supervisor, providing a letter from their direct supervisor is encouraged.
- Letters of support must provide evidence the candidate meets or exceeds the above qualifications.
Please submit all nomination forms along with letters of support by January 31, 2025.
