This award recognizes a KSU staff member within the Administration and Finance division who upholds the “Impactful Partners” core value, which means they collaborate with others by leveraging their experience, expertise, relationships, and strategic thinking to create win-win solutions for all.
Qualifications
This award will be presented to a Administration and Finance division staff member who:
- Has been employed at the University for more than one year.
- Has had no disciplinary concerns within the last twelve months.
- Has received an overall evaluation rating from their manager of either a “Superior” or “Exemplary” level (either a 4 or 5 overall).
Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess these characteristics:
- They have established relationships with multiple departments across the Administration and Finance division and the University, and use those relationships to solve problems internally and externally to their organization.
- They are viewed as a resource to other departments at KSU and are knowledgeable about the University’s policies and best practices.
- They look for ways to collaborate with other departments around the University in ways that provide mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties.
- They have collaborated on at least one project with multiple departments from inside or outside the Administration and Finance division.
Nomination Requirements
- In addition to the nomination form, please include at least one letter of support from either a coworker, past or present supervisor, student, internal or external stakeholder, faculty member, or staff in an outside department. If you are not the nominee's direct supervisor, providing a letter from their direct supervisor is encouraged.
- Letters of support must provide evidence the candidate meets or exceeds the above qualifications.
