Report an incident of sexual misconduct to the Title IX Coordinator.

Kennesaw State University takes all incidents of sexual misconduct seriously. If you or someone you know has experienced an incident of sexual misconduct, you are strongly encouraged to report it immediately.

Any student or third party to the University is strongly encouraged to report a complaint of or information regarding sexual misconduct where the victim or accused is a student, campus visitor, or employee of KSU.

Responsible employees must report a complaint of or information regarding sexual misconduct where the victim or accused is a student, campus visitor, or employee of KSU to the KSU Office of Institutional Equity/Title IX Coordinator.  Responsible employees include any administrator, supervisor, faculty member, or other person in a position of authority who is not aprivileged (confidential) employee. Student employees who serve in a supervisory, advisory, or managerial role are in a position of authority for purposes of the Sexual Misconduct Policy (e.g., teaching assistants, residential assistants, student managers, orientation leaders, etc.).

The complaint may also be made by email at eeo@kennesaw.edu, by making a report here, or in person as soon as reasonably possible to file a complaint for any sexual misconduct believed to have occurred.

Complaints of sexual misconduct can be made to the KSU Department of Public Safety and University Police 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The complaint can be made by telephone at 470-578-6666 (emergencies) or 470-578-6206 (non-emergencies), by email at police@kennesaw.edu, or in person as soon as reasonably possible to file a complaint for any sexual misconduct believed to have occurred.

Confidential Reporting

Confidential reporting sources do not disclose information of sexual misconduct to Kennesaw State University administrative officials. Any information shared with these resources will be kept private.

 

 

 

 

 

Non-Confidential Reporting

Non-Confidential reporting sources are required by law to disclose information of incidents of sexual misconduct to the University’s Title IX Coordinator. Privacy will be afforded to all parties and only a small group of officials who need to know will be told. Information will be shared as necessary with investigators, witnesses and the parties. The circle of people with this knowledge will be kept as tight as possible to preserve privacy.
