Resources for Reporting Misconduct

KSU is committed to fostering a safe and respectful campus environment. We provide essential resources for faculty and staff who have experienced, witnessed, or become aware of incidents of sexual misconduct. Here, you’ll find information on reporting options, support services, and policies aimed at addressing and preventing sexual harassment, violence, and other forms of misconduct. For immediate assistance or to file a report, please contact the Office of Institutional Equity/Title IX Coordinator or Human Resources.

  • If you are a KSU employee and have experienced an incident of sexual misconduct, please consult the links below for further information and assistance:

    In addition to the information provided in the links above, you may also file a complaint/make a report to the Human Resources Department at 470-578-6030 or to the Office of Institutional Equity/Title IX Coordinator at 470-578-2904.

    If you are a faculty and/or staff member and have witnessed or become aware of an alleged incident of sexual misconduct involving KSU students, faculty or staff, you must make a report to the following office:

  • KSU does not condone and will not tolerate sexual misconduct or sexually exploitative or harassing behavior of any kind. The University has implemented this policy and affirms its responsibility to:

    • Respond promptly and effectively to sex discrimination, especially sexual harassment and sexual violence;
    • Take immediate steps to eliminate the sexual harassment or sexual violence, prevent its recurrence, and address its effects; and
    • Support all students with appropriate resources regardless of their status as complainant or accused.

    • A fair and impartial investigation and resolution process
    • Be treated with respect by University officials
    • Have access to campus support resources (such as Counseling & Psychological Services Center and Student Health Services)
    • Have an advisor of your choice accompany you in the investigation and resolution process
    • Be free from retaliation
