Event Information
The KSU Days of Service is designed as an opportunity to say thanks to our local community
which has supported the university in many important ways throughout its history.
Volunteers participate in a variety of projects that meet the specific needs of community
organizations throughout Cobb County and Metro Atlanta.
In April 2024, KSU will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its annual Day of Service.
Typically, this is a one-day event that engages 500+ students, staff, faculty, alumni,
and community members in hands-on community service projects at 20+ nonprofit and
community organizations in Cobb County and surrounding areas. However, we will honor
our 10th anniversary by hosting Days of Service, a week-long celebration of service
with our community from April 1-6, 2024. The planning team is currently scoping project
sites for 2024, but past Day of Service project sites include Marietta High School,
Smith-Gilbert Gardens, Good Mews Animal Foundation, McCleskey-East Cobb Family YMCA,
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, Simple Needs GA, and Salvation Army of Marietta
to name a few.
