Makerspace Equipment

Our Engineering Lab offers a variety of tools and machines to support precision machining, material preparation, and rapid prototyping. From benchtop drill presses and lathes to 3D printers and a mill/lathe combo, our equipment is designed for a range of applications, including drilling, milling, turning, and fabrication.

JET Benchtop Drill Press (2)

JDP-15B – 15”, 3500 max. RPM, ¾ HP: Used to drill holes up to 1 ½”, reaming, countersinking, counter-boring, and tapping
JET Vertical Band Saw with Vacuum

JWBS-14CS, closed stand, 14”, 1 HP: Used to roughly size material for later machining. Includes a vacuum for dust collection
Grizzly Bench Top Mini Mill

Grizzly G8689 - 4" x 16" , 2500 max. rpm, 3/4 HP: Used for precise cutting of raw material, drill holes, mill ends, steps, and pockets

Grizzly Bench Top Lathe

G0765, Center to center: 13-3/4“, 2000 max. rpm, ¾ HP: Used for turning cylindrical material (up to 2” diameter x 8” long). Creates steps and/or shoulders, can be set up to cut internal and/or threads
Pulse 3D Printer

Build Volume:10” x 9” x 8.5”. Prints:PETG, PLA, ABS, Nylon (with special nozzle). Rapid prototyping
Central Machinery 3 in 1 Mill/Lathe Combo

17000 rpm, 3/4HP, Lathe 17”, Swing over Bed, MT4 Spindle, Taper, 31.5”, Center to Center, Used to drill holes up to 1 ½”, reaming, countersinking, counter-boring, and tapping
