About Credit for Prior Learning

Our mission is to recognize and value the knowledge and skills that students bring to their educational journey through Credit for Prior Learning. We aim to provide a fair and transparent process for assessing and awarding credit for prior learning experiences, including work experience, military training, and other traditional and non-traditional learning experiences. Our goal is to assist students with reducing costs and time on their educational journey, and to support their success in achieving their personal and professional goals. 

Our vision is to be a leader in the recognition and validation for prior learning experiences, and to promote the value of lifelong learning. We envision a future where all students have the opportunity to earn credit for their prior learning experiences. We strive to create a culture of learning that values and celebrates the diverse knowledge and the skills that leaners bring to their educational journey, and to support their success in achieving their academic goals.
