Student Codes of Conduct Violation - Disruptive behavior in the classroom?
A faculty member/instructor is responsible for the management of the classroom atmosphere so that all students in that class have an opportunity to participate in the learning process. Free exchange of ideas through appropriate dialogue is a necessary and important part of the learning process. Outside the classroom, other areas of the campus provide support services, which are also important to the total learning process. Sometimes the conduct and behavior of a particular student(s) impedes the natural and necessary learning process, and the faculty or staff member may need to address such behavior.
All incidents of alleged violations of the KSU Student Codes of Conduct shall be reported to the Department of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity (SCAI). Faculty, staff, or students who are witnesses to or victims of incidents of alleged violation of the KSU Student Codes of Conduct can submit this report electronically.
