Civil Engineering Masters Degree Options

The Civil Engineering Masters Degree offers both thesis and non-thesis options. 

Thesis Option

In addition to a minimum of 24 credits of course work, this option requires a research thesis (six credits) for a 30 credit minimum total. The research and thesis describes the results of an in-depth research investigation and is directed by a graduate advisor. This option are well suited to students with a particular interest in a specific subdiscipline in civil engineering.

Non-Thesis Option

This option requires a minimum of 30 credits of course work. The Non-Thesis option allows for three core courses, a four course concentration, and three courses in another concentration. This option is well suited to persons with professional experience.
