Borrower’s Obligations
- Student’s must follow all Kennesaw State University Information Technology Computer Usage Policies and Computer and Network Usage Policies.
- Laptops/iPads must be returned 30 minutes before closing time.
- Failure to return laptops/iPads will result in a replacement fee being applied.
- In cases of emergency (fire alarm/evacuation of the building) students are responsible for the whereabouts of assigned laptops/iPads.
- Only the person who checks out the equipment can return the equipment.
- Any violations of the above policies will terminate your privilege of borrowing equipment from the KSU Library System.
Please be advised that any files/apps left on the circulating Library System equipment will automatically be removed once the device is turned off.
Lost or Damaged Laptops/iPads
- Failure to return laptops and iPads will result in a replacement fee being posted to your account after one day.
- Delinquent accounts may result in an administrative hold that could prevent registration for future terms and possible graduation.
- Lost or damaged items are determined by the library and depending on the amount of damage to item.
- Replacement cost are determined by the library.
**Note – It is the responsibility of the patron to check their library account regularly to ensure that no replacement fees are charged to their library account.
