The Department of Student Leadership and Service is proposing a University-wide Mentoring Council in which mentoring programs and initiatives throughout KSU can form a network to collaborate for greater synergy around all aspects of mentoring (i.e. peer mentoring, professional mentoring, academic mentoring, K-12 mentoring, group-based mentoring, etc.). Goals of this newly established council will include discussion of mentoring software to track analytics with mentoring, event collaborations or co-sponsorship, professional development needs of program managers, best practices and shared mentoring resources for program development and improvement.
