Education Abroad Scholarships
The Education Abroad Office offers a variety of diverse programs for students to participate in year-round. There are a number of scholarship opportunities available to support KSU students and their education abroad experiences. Traditional financial aid opportunities are also available.

Global Education Administered Scholarships
The KSU Global Education (GE) office administers the below scholarships. When students apply for a GE administered scholarship, they apply for all GE administered scholarships within one application.

Global Education Staff Scholarship for Students
Global Education Staff believe in the importance of international education and support our students' efforts to have international experiences during their academic careers.
Award Amount:
One $500 scholarshipEligibility Requirements:
- Minimum 2.75 GPA
- Must be a full-time undergraduate student
- Participating in a KSU study abroad program
- Must be able to demonstrate financial need
- Preference: First time traveling abroad

Global Learning Financial Support
Kennesaw State University recognizes that a global education is essential to student success in today’s complex and interdependent world. In 2007, the KSU student body recommended and approved an International Fee to be instituted for the purpose of providing education abroad financial support. As a result, students paid a per term International Fee that assists students participating in education abroad programs.

Christina and Thomas Emerson Scholarship for the Advancement of International Education
The Christina and Thomas Emerson Scholarship for the Advancement of International Education provides financial assistance to support students who desire to participate in a Kennesaw State summer education abroad program outside of Western Europe, that includes a formal community engagement component.
Award Amount:
One fully funded scholarship including airfareEligibility Requirements:
- Minimum 3.0 GPA required
- Must be a full-time undergraduate student
- Must participate in a summer education abroad program outside of Western Europe
- Program must include community engagement component
- Academic reference letter (optional)
- Must be able to demonstrate financial need
- Preference: First time traveling abroad

Clark Family Study Abroad Scholarship
The Clark Family Study Abroad Scholarship is to provide financial support to students who are pursuing a degree in the Coles College of Business.
Award Amount:
Two $500 scholarshipsEligibility Requirements:
- Must be an undergraduate student (full or part-time)
- Pursuing degree in the Coles College of Business
- Participating in a KSU study abroad program
- Preference for a student from a single-parent household

Takada Scholarship for International Education
The Takada Scholarship for International Education provides financial assistance to support students who desire to participate in a Kennesaw State summer education abroad program outside of Western Europe.
Award Amount:
Two $1,000 scholarshipsEligibility Requirements:
- Minimum 3.0 GPA required
- Must be a full-time undergraduate student
- Must participate in a summer education abroad program outside of Western Europe
- Must be able to demonstrate financial need

ENPLAS International Education Scholarship
The ENPLAS Scholarship is to provide financial support to students who are pursuing a degree in the College of Science and Mathematics.
Award Amount:
One $1,000 scholarshipEligibility Requirements:
- Minimum 3.00 GPA
- Must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student
- Pursuing degree in College of Science and Mathematics
- Participating in a KSU study abroad program
- Must be able to demonstrate financial need

Fortezza Fund Study Abroad Scholarship
The Fortezza Fund Study Abroad Scholarship is designed to assist students who wish to study abroad in Kennesaw State University's Montepulciano program.
Award Amount:
One $1,000 scholarshipEligibility Requirements:
- Must be an undergraduate student (full or part-time)
- Participating in a KSU Montepulciano Summer study abroad program
- Must be able to demonstrate financial need

Michele Miller International Student Scholarship
The Michele Miller Scholarship was created to provide support for International students enrolled in a degree program at Kennesaw State University.
Award Amount:
Two $1,000 scholarshipsEligibility Requirements:
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must be full or part-time undergraduate or graduate student
- International student with appropriate visa
- Renewable to the same student with new scholarship application each year for a maximum of four years or through graduation

Award Amount:
One $1,500 scholarshipEligibility Requirements:
- Must be a MBA graduate student (full or part-time)
- Minimum 3.5 GPA
- Participating in a KSU study abroad program

True Family Study Abroad Scholarship
The True Family Scholarship seeks to support students who want the opportunity to fully engage in new and diverse cultural experiences abroad. Participation in study abroad programs helps to develop a foundation for living and working in a global society. Through intensive cultural immersion opportunities, students may have a better understanding of the world that we live in and can have transformative life experiences which help them to become good global citizens.
Award Amounts:
One $2,000 scholarship-
- Preference: Coles College of Business or College of the Arts student
Eligibility Requirements:
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must be an undergraduate or graduate student (full or part-time)

Brian Olcott LaRaia Travelling Scholarship
The Brian Olcott LaRaia Travelling Scholarship is to provide financial support to student(s) in the Norman J. Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Kennesaw State University.
Award Amount:
One $1,200 scholarshipEligibility Requirements:
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Undergraduate student enrolled in the Norman J. Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences
- First-time participants in the Study Abroad Program
- Must be able to demonstrate financial need

Tom and Jane Keene Montepulciano Travel Scholarship
The Tom and Jane Keene Montepulciano Travel Scholarship is to provide financial support to student(s) in Global Education at Kennesaw State University studying in Montepulciano, Italy.

Two $1,000 scholarshipsEligibility Requirements:
- Enrolled in the Journey Honors College
- Studying abroad in Montepulciano, Italy
- Must be able to demonstrate financial need

Andre Schnabl and Denny Marcus Study Abroad Endowed Scholarship
The Andre Schnabl and Denny Marcus Study Abroad Endowed Scholarship is to provide financial support to student(s) in Kennesaw State University's Montepulciano program who are receiving assistance from CARE or CYAAR.

- Must be an undergraduate student (full or part-time)
- Actively receiving assistance from CARE Services and/or CYAAR
- Participating in a KSU Montepulciano Summer study abroad program
- Not renewable to the same student
