Meet Our 2025 Featured Rising Student Researchers!
GURP proudly spotlights our Featured Rising Student Researchers, whose work is advancing psychology research. These emerging scholars represent diverse research areas, bringing fresh perspectives to our field. Take a moment to explore their stories below.
Treasure Evans is a Lifetime Member of PSI CHI, President of the Collegiate 100, an
active member of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, and a designated Honors
College Research Scholar. Treasure's current research capstone focuses on the impact
of microaggressions on college students, and studying this impact is important to
her because these subtle but harmful experiences can take a real toll on mental health,
academic performance, and overall well-being. Treasure want to understand how these
daily encounters shape students' sense of belonging so that universities can create
truly inclusive and supportive environments. Her hope is that this research will lead
to meaningful changes in policies, resources, and conversations that empower students
and foster a more equitable campus experience. |
