The Land of the Rising Sun: Japan Adventure

Here’s a great opportunity if you’ve always been interested in Japanese culture: participate in a study abroad program in Japan in the summer of 2025! Hosted by Kanda University in Chiba near Tokyo, this program offers a three-week stay in Japan to learn about Japanese culture, the traditional and the modern society of Japan. You will be able to explore this dynamic Asian culture at your leisure.
If you are a fan of Japanese pop culture, Pokemon Center Shibuya and other anime attractions in Tokyo are the places to visit! Plenty of temples to see and authentic sushi to consume!!!
Management students can take two courses that will contribute to their degree program: BUSA 3500 (Culture & International Business) and MGT4476 Contemporary Global practices: Doing business in Japan. Both of these courses can also b edone as SA4490 courses.
If you are a double major in psychology and business or a minor in psychology, there are two psychology courses available too, PSYC 3760: Asian American Identities and PSYC 4490 Special Topics: Gender Issues in Japan, if you are interested.
Program Cost - $3,115. Students pay for airfare and tuition separately.
The KSU Global Education offers information on internal and external scholarships
available to students going on a study abroad trip, as well as any KSU subsidies.
