  • June 4-6, 2025, 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.

    The Bailey School of Music Summer Music Intensive for Brass offers high school brass players (trumpet, horn, trombone, tuba, euphonium) the opportunity to learn and grow under the guidance of KSU Bailey School of Music applied brass faculty.

    Organized by Dr. Stephen Wadsack, Assistant Professor of Trumpet, participants will engage in masterclasses and brass ensemble rehearsals while also expanding their general musicianship through experiences with enrichment activities including mindfulness, improvisation, movement, and more.

  • June 2-6*, 8:00 am -5:00 pm
    (*Overnight Add-On Option June 1-6)

    The Bailey School of Music Summer Music Intensive for Choral Singers offers high school vocalists the opportunity to learn and grow under the guidance of KSU Bailey School of Music faculty, including Ryan Fellman, Interim Director of Choral Activities, and voice professors.

    Participants will engage in masterclasses and choral ensemble rehearsals while also expanding their general musicianship through experiences with enrichment activities including mindfulness, improvisation, movement, and more.

  • June 1-6, $370 (Overnight Add-On) 

    Stay on campus during the week of the Choral Summer Intensive! This optional add-on includes your accommodations and all meals. This add-on will allow you to stay on campus June 1-6, during the week of your summer intensive.

    Please note: The cost of $370 for the Overnight Add-On does not include required intensive registration. You must register for the Choral Summer Intensive before adding the option to stay overnight. 

  • June 9-12, 2025, 9:00 am -5:00 pm

    New this year! The Bailey School of Music Marching Band Drum Major Leadership Camp provides high school students a chance to enhance their skills and become inspiring leaders.

    Under the guidance of Brandon Meeks, Director of Athletic Bands, this program will focus on effective communication, conducting techniques, and team-building strategies, empowering participants to lead their bands with confidence.

    Through hands-on workshops and collaborative activities, students will develop their leadership styles while forging lasting friendships with fellow musicians. 

  • May 28-30, 2025, 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

    The Bailey School of Music Summer Music Intensive for Percussion offers high school percussion players the opportunity to learn and grow under the guidance of KSU Bailey School of Music faculty John Lawless and more.

    Participants will engage in masterclasses and ensemble rehearsals while also expanding their general musicianship through experiences with enrichment activities including mindfulness, improvisation, movement, and more.

  • June 2-4, 2025,  1:00 – 5:00 p.m.

    The Bailey School of Music Summer Music Intensive for Piano offers high school pianists the opportunity to learn and grow under the guidance of KSU Bailey School of Music faculty Dr. Robert Henry.

    Participants will engage in masterclasses and ensemble rehearsals, developing technique and polishing repertoire while also expanding their general musicianship through experiences with enrichment activities including mindfulness, improvisation, movement, and more.

  • May 28-30, 2025, 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.

    The Bailey School of Music Summer Music Intensive for Strings offers high school string instrumentalists the opportunity to learn and grow under the guidance of KSU Bailey School of Music string faculty, including Helen Kim, Charae Krueger, Dr. Julia Bullard, and more.

    Participants will engage in masterclasses, sectional coachings, and large ensemble rehearsals on their primary instruments while also expanding their general musicianship through experiences with enrichment activities including mindfulness, movement, improvisation, and more.
