Prillaman hall will be unavailable to all personnel and students due to building maintenance. Thus, we are working remote to ensure all scheduled appointments are met.

How to Visit

Visit our center by appointment OR drop-in. We have three modalities for both options: Face-to-Face, Virtual via Microsoft Teams, or Phone. **A drop-in and an appointment are two separate things.** A drop-in cannot be scheduled. An appointment can.

  1. Face-to-Face

    • Schedule an appointment through EAB.
    • For a drop-in, call our front desk during drop-in hours.

  3. Phone

Regular Drop-in Hours in FALL 2024:

    • If no appointments are available, drop-ins are an option.
    • Contact our office during drop-in times at 470.578.3211 or visit Prillaman Hall, suite 1003.
    • The queue operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so it cannot be scheduled ahead of time. You will meet with the first available advisor.

  • We only serve current KSU students seeking degrees in the following majors: Exercise Science, Sport Management, Health and Physical Activity Leadership, Integrated Health Science, Public Health Education, Human Services, and Nursing.
  • Academic Advising is a student-centered, collaborative process with the purpose of helping students process and achieve their academic goals. 
  • Wellstar College students now have assigned advisors who all have knowledge about the various Wellstar College programs. To find out who your advisor is log in to Owl Express by Owl Express and view your Degree Works (under the registration tab).
  • Although advising is not compulsory after the first year, we strongly encourage you to see an advisor. We can provide information you may not be able to garner on your own, saving you time and frustration.

  • Drop-in advising is a 10-minute advising session on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Services available during drop-in advising: questions or information on the current or upcoming semester, questions on prerequisite courses, and providing students with resources for growth and autonomy in the registration process.

  • A gated major means a minimum GPA requirement, prerequisite courses, or both are needed for admission into the program. Therefore, please meet with an advisor to discuss program admission requirements, courses for each semester, and graduation progression. It is crucial to meet with us to ensure you are not applying to your major late.
