Beginning in April, University Information Technology Services (UITS) has launched a more structured approach to IT project intake and governance—built on a robust scoring model and closely aligned with both Taking Flight, KSU’s strategic plan, and SOAR 2028, UITS’ strategic roadmap. This new framework enhances our ability to prioritize projects that support the University’s goals while delivering consistent, high-quality service to the campus community.

An IT project involves a technology update or change that requires complex planning, affects multiple departments, or goes beyond a standard service request.
