Mentoring: Guidance Meets Growth
The True Owls Mentoring Program at Kennesaw State offers a transformative, 6-month rotational experience pairing employees with experienced leaders for overall professional development. Mentors and Mentees will aspire to meet monthly to set and achieve goals, focusing on strategic thinking, leadership skills, and address any performance challenges like conflict management. Benefits include expanding professional networks, gaining cross-functional understanding, and fostering diverse perspectives through structured guidance and support.
Key success factors include active sponsorship, clear roles and goals, regular feedback, and a commitment to mutual respect and confidentiality.
