Kennesaw State Master Craftsman students create public art
Downtown Kennesaw has become an art gallery of sorts in recent years, in part because of a partnership between the city and Kennesaw State University. Diagnosed with hypertension at a young age, Ami Eho sought to educate herself about cardiometabolic health issues that afflicted her and her family. Now she is immersing herself in research at Kennesaw State this summer, thanks to a fellowship from the National Institutes of Health. – June 16, 2021
Kennesaw State student finds passion for research, extracurriculars through engineering college
When it comes to describing Kennesaw State University student George Williams, engineering professors Simin Nasseri and Mohammad Jonaidi find themselves rattling off a lengthy list of accomplishments. While serving as president of the KSU Motorsports student organization, Williams has carved out a niche for research in two departments within the Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology, co-authoring numerous journal papers and conference presentations. He also held two internships, one at industrial controls company Rovisys and another at Compass Technology Group, which specializes in electromagnetic high-frequency measurement. In his free time, he uses his technical writing skills to flex his creative muscle, writing science fiction novels. – June 15, 2021

Kennesaw State students earn academic recognition for classroom achievements
Kennesaw State University undergraduate students have been honored for their academic achievements by being named to the University’s Dean’s and President’s lists for the spring semester. To make the list, KSU undergraduate students must be enrolled at least nine credit hours during the spring semester. For the Dean’s List, students must have a grade point average of at least 3.5, while the President’s list requires students to earn a 4.0 grade point average. – June 14, 2021
