State legislator Scot Turner, a Kennesaw State University alumnus, discusses Georgia’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic in the latest episode of the “Political Futures” podcast hosted by KSU political science professor Kerwin Swint.

Turner (R-Holly Springs) also touches on topics including constitutional principles, constituent services and lobbyist gifts. Turner, who has represented Georgia House District 21 for seven years, says he tries to follow the mantra of former Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia that “I attack issues. I don’t attack people.”

Swint provides a non-partisan perspective on current events on “Political Futures.” An expert in presidential elections, Swint is the director of the School of Government and International Affairs at Kennesaw State.
