Coles College of Business program holds steady at No. 1 in Georgia and No. 7 globally
Kennesaw State University’s Executive MBA program maintained its status as the best in Georgia and No. 7 in the world in CEO Magazine’s 2019 Global Executive MBA Rankings, released today.
The Executive Master of Business Administration in the Michael J. Coles College of Business ranked No. 1 in the state for the third straight year and remained seventh in the world for the second year in a row based on CEO Magazine’s numerical rating system.
“It is extremely rewarding to see our Executive MBA program once again ranked among the top programs in the world,” said Robin Cheramie, interim dean of the Coles College of Business. “This ranking is a testament to the quality and power of the Coles College EMBA, and to the dedication of our faculty and staff who have crafted an experience that provides students with a proven route to personal and professional success.”
Kennesaw State’s EMBA was recognized by the magazine as a Global Tier One EMBA program for the fifth consecutive year. Programs are classified as Tier One or Tier Two based on factors including quality of faculty, international diversity, class size, accreditation, work experience, international exposure, professional development, gender parity and delivery methods.
The Coles College’s Executive MBA enrolls about 45 working professionals annually in its 19-month program that offers cutting-edge global teaming, program-long executive coaching and a customized curriculum for ambitious professionals including executives, mid-level managers and entrepreneurs.
“To again receive this recognition as the No. 1 EMBA program in Georgia validates that our focus on leadership and teaming continues to help students advance their careers,” said Alison Keefe, executive director of the Executive MBA program. “Maintaining our status as a top-ranked EMBA program is evidence that our true weekend format, applied integrated curriculum and dedicated faculty provide our students with a pathway to success.”
Allan Bishop, director of recruitment and business development for the Executive MBA program, added: “The CEO Magazine ranking reinforces our students’ decision to choose Kennesaw State for their Executive MBA and increases the value and prestige of their degree.”
In addition to the Executive MBA ranking, the Coles College’s Doctor of Business Administration program was one of 26 named a “premier DBA provider” in CEO Magazine’s global listings. The rating is based on accreditation, quality of faculty, geography and international standing.
