Important student deadlines for Spring Semester 2020

With the start of a new calendar year, Kennesaw State students, faculty and staff are returning to campus for the spring semester, which is set to begin Jan. 6. Here are key dates to remember for Spring 2020:

Classes:
Monday, Jan. 6 – First day of classes and beginning of add/drop period
Friday, Jan. 10 – End of add/drop period
Friday, Jan. 17 – Final tuition and fees payment deadline
Monday, Jan. 20 – No classes - Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Financial Aid:
Sunday, Jan. 13 – Last day to use financial aid credit at Kennesaw State bookstores.
Friday, Jan. 17 – Financial aid is disbursed to Bursar’s Office to pay tuition and fees.
Friday, Jan. 22 – Refunds are made available (processed by Bursar’s Office).

Services:
Thursday, Jan. 2 – The Bookstore returns to normal operations
Sunday, Jan. 5 – Stingers and Commons open from 4-9 p.m.; all University Dining locations resume regular hours on Monday, Jan. 6
Monday, Jan. 6 – Regular Big Owl Bus shuttle service resumes

Scholarships:
The deadline for most scholarships is March 1. For more information, visit scholarships.kennesaw.edu.

Mark your calendar:
Spring Break is set for March 28 – April 3.
Last day of classes is April 27.
Commencement ceremonies are held May 5-7.
