Complimentary ticket available with valid North Carolina or South Carolina ID
With Hurricane Florence expected to impact the Atlantic coast this weekend, the Kennesaw
State Department of Athletics is inviting residents displaced by the storm to attend
Saturday's football game as guests of the Owls.
All residents with a valid North Carolina and South Carolina ID can receive a complimentary
ticket to Saturday's 5 p.m. home opener against Alabama State at Fifth Third Bank
Stadium.
Those affected can come to the stadium ticket office starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday,
show a valid North Carolina or South Carolina identification and receive a complimentary
ticket. Guests accompanied by their children will also receive a ticket for the kids.
A limited supply of tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis while
supplies last.
"Our thoughts and prayers go out to those impacted by this hurricane," said Director
of Athletics Milton Overton. "For those families displaced by the storm and seeking
shelter here in northwest Georgia, we welcome you to our home and hope that a few
hours of college football can provide a sense of normalcy during this difficult time."
Fans looking to receive a complimentary ticket are encouraged to park in the Grey
Lot ($15 on gameday). For those making your way to the stadium, here's five things
you need to know, including the clear bag policy at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
All lots will open at noon on Saturday, with the Fan Zone outside the stadium beginning
at 2 p.m. The "Owl Walk" occurs at 3 p.m. at its new location on Busbee Drive at the
entrance to the green lot.
