Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts recognizes KSU for second consecutive year
Kennesaw State University was recently selected as recipient of the “Award of Distinction for Excellent Financial Reporting” by the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts.
The award was established in 2014 by the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts to recognize excellence in financial reporting and controls. This annual award encourages colleges and universities to go beyond the minimum requirements of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and recognizes individual organizations that are successful in achieving that goal.
Kennesaw State is one of five Georgia institutions selected for this award for fiscal year 2017. This is the third time, and the second consecutive year, that Kennesaw State has earned this distinction.
