Kennesaw State expert: Happy medium is not easy to find
The Equifax hacking scandal highlights the complex balance between trust and caution when using computers and the internet.
It poses a question worth exploring -- more regulation or more personal responsibility?
"So the trick is always, how do you find that happy medium? And that's not an easy thing to find," said Andrew Green, a lecturer of information security and assurance in Kennesaw State's Coles College of Business.
"There are some people who think, 'The government should take care of everything for me,'" Green continued. "And then there are some people who say, 'I want the government involved in as little of my affairs as possible.'"
