Continuing recovery in the housing market fuels positive outlook
Kennesaw State University economics professor Roger Tutterow said he is optimistic about the state of the economy, both national and local.
Speaking at a meeting of the Cobb Chamber’s Cumberland Area Council on Thursday, Tutterow analyzed economic, business and political movements that might be at play with a focus on Cobb.
“The county is doing quite well. It’s hard not to be bullish about what’s going on in Cobb County,” Tutterow said. “I do caution us that the pace of growth and the population and residents will likely moderate as the county continues to mature, but when I look around at what’s going on here in the Cumberland area and I see the development of residential as well as business-oriented concepts, it’s hard not to believe the Cumberland story will continue to be a positive one.”
