Institutional Policies

This website provides information relating to institutional policies that are published in the Policy Portal and/or the University Handbook and curriculum policies that are published in the Undergraduate and Graduate Catalogs. 

Institutional and academic policies undergo review by shared governance and administrative review groups. Additionally, institutional policies go through an initial review by the Policy Process Council with reprentatives from all major campus divisions  before proceeding to shared governance reviews. Academic and institutional policies go through a slightly different review process as reflected below. Both pathways allow for the submission of feedback that is shared with and considered by the president and provost who make the final decision to approve or not approve a policy.
