Week of Welcome

The party doesn’t stop after Move-In! We've got incredible events lined up for you every day throughout the first week of classes. View the Week of Welcome page to see what’s happening on campus.

Renter's Insurance

Have you enrolled in renter's insurance yet? If not, make sure you do so today! Housing and Residence Life has partnered with GradGuard to provide renter’s insurance to on-campus residents for $139 per year. Students can purchase coverage from  GradGuard at any time through their website.

Though it's not mandatory, we highly recommend getting renter's insurance to protect your personal belongings, as KSU cannot be held responsible for any losses. Talk with your parents/families about adding yourself to their existing personal policies.

Facilities & Maintenance

Residential Assistants (RAs) are live-in student staff here to support you 24/7. Throughout the year, they will be your go-to contact for any questions, concerns or support you may need. Make sure to save their phone number and attend programs they host for your community.

The RA On Duty for your community is available for lockouts and emergencies on nights and weekends. Be sure to save your community's RA on duty information so you can contact them if needed.

Your Meal Plan will become active immediately upon Move-In.  From August 7 to 12, all residents can use their Meal Plans for access to both dining halls and to purchase meals from High Point Café during scheduled hours of operation.

You can also use your Dining Dollars at The Market located at University Village and inside the Carmichael Student Center and at High Point Café in The Summit.
