 CAS’s faculty associates work with the Center’s director to:

  • Develop and implement a 5-year strategic plan consistent with KSU’s strategic plan
  • Develop and implement community outreach programs
  • Develop and implement a research agenda
  • Identify specific areas of focus and the expected deliverables
  • Explore opportunities for grant writing to fund research, conference attendance/presentation, professional development, faculty-led study abroad, and other initiatives
  • Design and implement CAS’s vision, mission and action plans
  • Monitor and evaluate the implementation of annual programs
  • Provide feedback, advice and recommendations on the general operation and programs of the Center.

 

The director and the associate will work with the associate's department chair, to make sure the faculty member receives necessary recognition and credit for their work with the Center
