The Future of Payments: Emerging Technology and the Growing Demand for Talent brings together students, faculty, and fintech industry insiders together to share the latest developments in the ever-changing fintech industry and to explore the wealth of career opportunities spanning a wide variety of disciplines from information systems, finance, and accounting to compliance and marketing.

Social-First Finance Student Competition

The Coles College of Business, The Georgia Fintech Academy, and MJV Innovations are hosting a student pitch competition during "The Future of Payments." Student teams pitch their ideas for using digital platforms to teach financial concepts and promote financial security. The winning team receives $2,000.

These workshops will reveal how consumers and other clients interact with cutting-edge payment software, bringing the topic of digital payment from the abstract into the practical.

Each Digital Payment Seminar features sessions where current students can meet directly with leaders in the fintech space. Students learn about the fintech job market and how they can set themselves up for success when they graduate.
