Welcome to the Social-First Finance Student Competition!
Have you heard stories of individuals overwhelmed by debt or distressed by sudden financial emergency? In today's digital age, financial literacy is more important than ever. We are excited to invite you to participate in a unique challenge where you explore the power of social media and community networks to educate and empower your peers on financial security. In case you are wondering what financial security is, it entails aligning income and expenses while being prepared for financial emergencies, having savings, and planning for retirement.
Your Mission: Develop an innovative idea that uses digital platforms to teach financial concepts and promote financial security. Your pitch should focus on how your idea can reach a broad audience, engage users, and provide valuable financial education.
Competition Details
- Teams: Form a team of 3-5 students.
- Deliverables:
- First Round: Submit a one-page idea pitch outlining your concept. This should include the concept
with a specific focus on why it is unique and would work, as well as the implementation
plan, impact, feasibility, and closing statement. The deadline for submission is February
17, 2025, at the end of the day. Submit the Pitch.
- Final Round: If selected, the team will be asked to present a 10-minute pitch in front of our
panel of judges at the 4th Digital Payment Seminar on February 26, 2025 (10:30 AM to 11:00 AM).
- First Round: Submit a one-page idea pitch outlining your concept. This should include the concept
with a specific focus on why it is unique and would work, as well as the implementation
plan, impact, feasibility, and closing statement. The deadline for submission is February

- Criteria: Your idea will be evaluated based on creativity, feasibility, impact, and engagement potential.
