Past Conference: Friday, January 26 & Saturday, January 27, 2018
Faculty from the College of Science and Mathematics (CSM) at Kennesaw State University (KSU) have been engaged in projects in the Raccoon Creek Watershed over the last decade in collaboration with partners from the Paulding County Government, Paulding County School System, Georgia Department of Natural Resources and The Nature Conservancy. The collaborators have built on the successes they have achieved and expanded the breadth and depth of research, education, and outreach projects in the watershed. The goal of this symposium was to bring scientists, resource managers, educators, and policy-makers together to review past successes and discuss possibilities for future projects.
The Raccoon Creek Symposium was held on the Kennesaw State University (Kennesaw campus) on Friday, January 26th with field excursions to the Raccoon Creek watershed on Saturday, January 27th.
