MSIS Admission Requirements
Ready to take the next step and apply for a master's degree in information systems? Our applicants come from the fields of both IT and business, with the determination to be successful in this online information systems degree program.
- Resume - Detailing Your Professional Work Experience
- Transcripts - Official transcripts from EACH College and/or University you have attended. Must be in a sealed envelope from the institution or sent electronically from the institution directly to ksugrad@kennesaw.edu.
- Statement of Interest - 1-2 pages describing why you are interested in the KSU MSIS program and how the program fits with your career/educational goals.
- References - List of three references with contact details including their phone numbers.
* Note: If your undergrad degree is from outside US/Canada and you do not have a graduate degree from an appropriately accredited university in US/Canada, GMAT waiver may not be possible.

We highly recommend some format of test preparation before taking the GMAT. This page outlines some available options including books, videos, in person classes and an online class offered through KSU's College of Continuing Education.
GMAT Preparation ClassNote that some applicants may qualify for a GMAT alternative allowing them to be considered for admission to the MSIS program without taking the test. See the criteria listed above for qualifying for an alternative. If you believe you qualify, you can request an alternative on the application in the GMAT section by checking the appropriate box.
