  • Dance Summer Intensive

    The KSU Summer Dance Intensive is an exciting program open to high school students and those about to start their first year of college. The Dance Intensive offers intermediate to advanced level dance students  the opportunity to experience technical and artistic growth in dance in an environment that’s supportive and creative.

    Participants may choose to stay on campus (see Overnight Add-on, optional, below) or students may commute to campus daily. 

    Students will be taught by the KSU Dance faculty and experience a variety of dance styles, including Modern, Ballet, African, Jazz, Tap, Improvisation, and more! The program will  culminate with a dance concert choreographed by our talented faculty in the KSU Dance Theater on the Marietta campus. The Department of Dance at KSU offers special scholarships to outstanding students who attend this intensive. We invite you to spend the week with us, embracing dance, personal growth, connection, and creativity!

    The cost of the summer dance intensive is $325 and includes lunch each day.
