Action Required: Complete Cybersecurity Awareness Training Today by 11:59 p.m.

KENNESAW, Ga. | Apr 21, 2025

Today is the final day to complete KSU’s Spring Cybersecurity Awareness Training.
All faculty, staff, and student assistants are required to complete the training by 11:59 p.m. on April 21. The training takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. Please note that failure to meet this deadline will result in temporary deactivation of your KSU NetID account until the training is completed.

The Cybersecurity Awareness Training is designed to help you recognize phishing attempts, prevent data breaches, and enhance your online safety. Through interactive modules and real-world scenarios, you’ll develop practical skills to protect both personal and university information.

Already finished? Great! Give your teammates a quick nudge; a friendly reminder goes a long way.

Let’s make this a win for all of us. One team. One goal. One secure campus. We’ve got this!

What You Need to Know

This training is mandatory for all faculty, staff, and student assistants and must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on April 21. If you miss the deadline, your KSU NetID account will be disabled until you complete the training.

Please Note: The Owl Express Training Dashboard lists a deadline of May 1 because it reflects one minute past the University System of Georgia (USG) official deadline of 11:59 p.m. on April 30. However, KSU has set a firm internal deadline of April 21.

If you do not complete the training by the April 21 deadline, your account will be disabled. Once you complete the training, your access will be restored within 30 minutes.
