Mission

The mission of the Office of Undergraduate Research at Kennesaw State University is to promote high-quality undergraduate student-faculty collaborative research and scholarship in all disciplines across campus.

We aim to make research an integral part of the undergraduate experience at Kennesaw State University and to become a premier resource for undergraduate research both at KSU and nationally.

The Office of Undergraduate Research is a unit in the Office of Research.

Undergraduate Research Club

Students not only can pursue research and creative scholarship individually, but they can also engage in team-based research projects through the Undergraduate Research Club, a registered student organization at KSU. Funding is available to student researchers and to faculty mentors to support their research activities.

Undergraduates can present their work at academic conferences such as the KSU Symposium of Student Scholars or the National Conference on Undergraduate Research, the largest conference of its kind in the U.S., which was recently held at KSU in the spring of 2019. Students can complete their research journey by sharing their projects in the Kennesaw Journal of Undergraduate Research, an online peer-reviewed scholarly journal.
