New Student Programs
All new undergraduate students need to attend a New Student Orientation session. *
The New Student Orientation program at Kennesaw State University is the first step
in ensuring that new students have a successful transition and integration into college
life.
By attending orientation, students will:
-
Connect with university faculty, staff, and other KSU students
-
Complete a schedule and register for classes in their chosen major
-
Attend an academic advising session
-
Acquire more knowledge about student support services, the Division of Student Affairs, and the KSU academic experience
-
Gain a better understanding of the personal and financial responsibilities of attending college
-
Reduce anxiety about the transition to college life
-
Understand the necessity of students taking ownership and academic responsibility in their educational process
