With a strong foundation in quantitative reasoning and mathematical modeling and a broad-based understanding of use of information and computing technologies, graduates of the Math BS-MSIS will be poised to excel in careers in Applications or Data Analysis, Information Systems Management, Information Security or Cybersecurity.

Admission Requirements


Double Owl Admission Requirements 
  • GPA: 3.25 or above in KSU undergraduate coursework
  • Minimum 75 hours completed toward Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 30 hours completed at KSU
Double Counted Courses Include
  • IS 7005 to count for Related Studies
  • IS 7060 to count for Related Studies
  • IS 7080 to count for Related Studies

NOTE: Double Owl students will NOT take a MATH Elective but instead take IS 3100.
