The Minor in Political Science promotes coursework that looks at the policies and proceedings of state and local governments, international affairs, the United States Congress and many more. You will be exposed to critical contemporary political and government-related issues with relevant context and background. In addition, this minor examines the international order concerning conflict and war, foreign policy, global contributors and political dynamics between countries worldwide.
The Political Science Minor requires one lower-division political science course, one upper-division course in American politics, policy, or legal system, and one upper-division course in international affairs. In addition, you will complete six (6 ) credit hours of elective upper-division political science courses.
